We at Global Link Land Surveying would like to take the time to explain to you, "The Buyer", about survey
coverage policies.
Did You Know?
- You as "The Buyer" are paying for survey coverage instead of receiving an actual survey of your new property. This
coverage protects only "The Lender" and offers no protection for you as "The Buyer" of the property.
- Any problems which may arise after the closing such as property disputes, fence, driveway, or outbuilding
encroachments, unknown easements, etc., are your responsibility to resolve. You still have no protection under your
survey coverage policy.

Solutions
- Before you buy, remember that you are making a substantial investment when purchasing a home. The time for
precaution is before you complete your real estate transaction. Protect your interests, insist on a professional land survey
by a licensed land surveyor.
- Now that you have received your survey, you can insist on having an owners policy of title insurance so your
investment can be fully protected.
- Relax and congratulate yourself, you have protected your investment wisely.
